Marianna Hewitt joins Revolve as creative director of L’Academie

Marianna Hewitt, the co-founder of Summer Fridays and a leading influencer, has been appointed as the creative director of L’Academie, an exclusive in-house label of Revolve. The fashion retailer announced the news after the successful launch of Marianna x Revolve curated collection in December 2022.

Hewitt brings her vision and style to L’Academie

L’Academie is a Parisian-inspired brand that offers chic and sophisticated pieces for women. Revolve acquired the brand in March 2015 as part of its purchase of Alliance Apparel Group. Hewitt has been a fan of the brand since then and has worn it on several occasions.

Hewitt said she was honored to be part of Revolve in a bigger way as the creative director of L’Academie. She said she wanted to reimagine the brand’s aesthetic and create pieces that she would want in her dream wardrobe. “Together with this talented team, we’ve stayed true to the brand’s core essence and reimagined it to have pieces I would want in my dream wardrobe,” Hewitt said in a press release.

Hewitt has nearly a decade of experience as a content creator, working with Revolve and other brands. She also co-founded Summer Fridays, a top-selling beauty brand on Revolve, in 2018. She said she always thinks about her community and what they like when creating products.

Revolve welcomes Hewitt as a partner and friend

Revolve, which was founded by Michael Mente and Mike Karanikolas in 2003, is a leading global fashion retailer that specializes in influencer marketing. The company works with thousands of influencers and celebrities to promote its products and events.

L’Academie unveils new collection with Hewitt’s touch

The new L’Academie collection, which features Hewitt’s vision and style, is now available on Revolve’s website and app. The collection includes sets, knits, skorts, trousers, shorts, outerwear, and dresses that can be mixed and matched for different occasions.

The collection also reflects Hewitt’s personal style, which she described as a blend of “California” and “Paris”. She said she wanted to create pieces that can take her to different places in her day, from meetings to events to lunches and dinners. She said she also considered the comfort and practicality of the pieces, as well as the trends and data insights from Revolve.

The collection ranges from $88 to $298 and is available in sizes XXS to XL. Hewitt said she was excited to share the collection with her followers and Revolve’s customers. “I hope you love it as much as I do,” she said.
