Eligibility and Application Process
The housing lottery is open to New Yorkers who earn from $101,109 to $198,250, depending on the size of the household. The apartments are set aside for households earning 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), which is currently $127,100 for a three-person household.
The apartments available include 22 studios, 59 one-bedrooms, and 29 two-bedrooms. The rents are $2,949 for a studio, $3,155 for a one-bedroom, and $3,800 for a two-bedroom. The rents include gas for cooking, but not electricity or heat.
Applicants must submit their applications online or by mail, no later than Feb. 12th. They can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect, or request a paper application by sending a self-addressed envelope to 2072 Anthony Avenue c/o Breaking Ground, PO Box 3620937, New York, NY 10129. Applicants should not apply more than once, or they could be disqualified.

The property has 111 units in total, of which 110 are available through the housing lottery. - 425 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, which will have 289 rent-stabilized apartments for households earning from $0 to $132,840. The rents will start at $367 for a studio, and the building will have a rooftop farm, a library, and a health center. The lottery is expected to open in early 2024.
